My name is Dana, and I am the artisan creator at Living Water Creations. My journey for all-natural alternatives spiraled after researching some of the ingredients found in my everyday products. (I truly dove inside a rabbit hole and never came out.) Not only was I shocked to find such harsh chemicals in skincare formulations, but I was sorely disappointed in myself for blindly trusting an outside source to prioritize my overall health before a profit margin.

Think about it, though. We lather up with soap every day, often multiple times a day, without giving much thought to what’s actually in the product. Considering this, allow me to share a few of the answers found inside my rabbit hole…

·       Parabens: Endocrine disruption, breast cancer risk

·       Formaldehyde: Irritant, potential carcinogen

·       Phthalates: Endocrine disruption, reproductive toxicity

·       Alcohol: Drying to the skin, stripping natural oils

·       Dioxane: Possible carcinogen

·       Ethanolamine: Potential health risks, such as skin irritation, sensitization, and carcinogenic formation, there are restrictions on usage in certain products

Again, that is only a few of the questionable ingredients and the “potential” adverse side effects. Sadly, many commercial soaps contain a cocktail of damaging ingredients for our skin as well as our overall health. Of course, this information is not advertised - no. You must search those little nuggets out for yourself.

If mention of toxic chemicals and the possible threat of cancer lacked in incentive, I was long past tired of spending an excessive amount of money for products that, in my opinion, did not live up to the hype or price thereof. Besides, I love to create ~ new soaps, lotions, milk/salt soothing soaks, body washes, scrubs, polish… I love it all!

Here’s the thing, I want safety in a bottle, suds in a soap and skin that feels like silk after application. And trusting someone else with this task was not happening again. So, I switched things up. I sought better, studied more, then went to work. Honestly, I haven’t slowed down since.

For those of you seeking an all-natural alternative, I would love to share my skin-loving products with you.

And bee pollen powder delivers essential nutrients, vitamins, and amino acids to the skin for rejuvenation and hydration.
